Bike in Time: Stunt Trials

Bike in Time is a mobile platformer-racer game developed by Gameloft for its premium store & subscription service. The game takes the stunt platforming racing genre with a time travelling twist through 5 eras. Developed using their in-house engine. 

Genre: Midcore, platformer, arcade, racer.

Responsibilities:
  • Level design for 40+ levels within the game across various game worlds, including the challenging special post game levels. (From conception to balancing).

  • Helped in world building for 2 game worlds. (Obstacles, flow, level pacing and UX design).

  • Designed the FTUE for the game.

  • Helped the tech team develop the in-house engine for the game during the game development process.

Achievements:
  • Grew and fell in love with Level Design.

  • Used the knowledge gained during this project as a base for my research paper, "Perceived Sense of Level Design in for fast paced Casual mobile games" published in IEEE in 2021. Link to research paper.
